The human body already comes with reminder program.... thirst. Btw, it CAN be harmful to drink too much water. Chilax and just drink when youre thirsty.
I hate drinking water and this app helps me accomplish the minimum required. If you are good at drinking H2o then this is not for you. Definitely needs a history though. That would change my rating to 5!

This is a good way to remind oneself to drink more water each day. Calling it 8 glasses a day is misleading though, because there is no scientific evidence that 8 glasses is optimal. That is one of those myths that has not been adequately tested. But the app is a good way to make sure you drink fluids throughout the day. It could be improved by allowing for half or a third of a glass, because I rarely can chug down a full glass in one sitting.

This app is great in keeping track of how much water I have drank throughout the day. However, a few adde features would mak this app even better. Time Stamps It would be nice if a time stamp feature was available, so you can see at what time(s) of the day you drank water. Another feature would be if the app wa able to tell you how much water (in ounces) would be considered a glass worth.
Good app but needs history tracking and a reminder of some type that can be set in intervals or for a specific time. Overall a very cool idea and extremly helpful for those us who dont drink enough fluids.
I like this application as I never drink water and anything can help. It needs some improvements before I will give it a 5 though. I would love to see the app have an alarm/vibrate setting that you can set to remind you. When Im working I dont drink water for a reason, Im not thinking about it, so at this point this app deosnt really motivate me to drink more. Also, why only 8 glasses, I think the app should allow you to set your goal, go beyond and lets try for 12. I look forwad to the update when it will show the glasses you have left, I hate seeing that I have messages, so maybe this will help motivate me to drink more.
I really like this app - it was one of the first apps I put on my IPhone. Very simple to use. I would however like an update with more facts - the ones that show up when you completed all 8 glasses. I also agree with a previous review that a history would be helpful too. More facts and a history log would make this a 5 star!
A long time ago I rated the app 4-stars & like many others mentioned option of more glasses would be nice; you listened so I thought Id keep my word & write another review for 5 stars. Thanks again !!
5 years ago I lost 100 lbs & I had to log in a little book all 8 8oz. Glasses of water a day. I still do it but I dont write it down in that little stupid book I got this app for the water intake & the "MEAL DIARY" app on the front page of my iPhone to keep me on the weight loss track.
It would be nice if it showed how many days in a row you completed your goal. Maybe the counter starts over if you dont? I like the history idea but the apps simplicity is def a positive. How can we keep both?
It actually CAN hurt to drink 8 glasses a day. For instance, a small child who weighs 40 or 50 pounds. If this child were to drink 8 glasses a day he/she may experience whats called, "water intoxication", which has proven to be fatal in some cases. Anyone who thinks everyone needs to drink the same amount of water every day is, sorry to say, wrong. This app is not only misleading, but it lacks plenty of features that hardly make it worth the price. After using this app I feel it should be free due to its extremely low user functionality. A better way to go is to purchase the app called, "Water Your Body", it not only does what Eight Glasses a Day does (but properly), it also allows history tracking, time stamps, graphs, information, and frankly its just an all around better app.
...needs more functionality, please. It would be useful for people who are tracking their water consumption (re: kidney stone or other health issues, for example), to be able to set the time of their consumption cycle by wheel (not just a 12:30a default) and tap for 1/2 glass, press for whole glass (since "glass" for me is sometimes a whole made up of partial drinks). A log (c/b simple as time of each full glass) would be a great feature since I know my h2O consption isnt even and there are times of day when I am, in fact, dehydrated. An alarm feature and a thresholld option (set an alert if no water is consumed in X number of hours) w/b nice! A good start - please keep going!

Nice set up, but this app is most likely going to get old/deleted after the first week. If it had a history then it would be more useful.
Great App. Please create a history to track how many glasses a day the person is actually drinking.
